Hi, I'm Lisa.

In 2016, I started a messy divorce. I didn't understand what I was doing, or what my lawyer was doing. Every text from my ex made my heart pound. My body couldn't tell the difference between a threat and a text message.

And honestly? I used to scream and yell. I'm not proud of it. It's part of why I built this space.

This group is for the women I wish I'd had back then. Women who get it without needing the whole backstory.

What this is:
A free virtual daytime happy hour, 12:00 to 1:00 PM Mountain. Bring your coffee, tea, or whatever's in your mug. Cameras optional. Talk, or just listen.

How often we meet:
We meet once a month, free. If you want more support between meetups, I also run a paid weekly group with extra resources, courses, lectures and more. The group is called The Divorce Compass. Send me a message, and I'll share the details.

Whether you're quietly thinking about leaving, deep in the middle of it, dealing with custody, or rebuilding after, there's a seat for you.

A few house rules so this stays safe for everyone:

What's shared here stays here.
No children's names or identifying details. Protect your kids, and everyone else's.
Talk about patterns, not people. We're here to figure out our next move, not to roast anyone's ex.
I'm a divorce and custody coach, not a lawyer or a therapist. Nothing here is legal advice or therapy.

Your first move:
Introduce yourself in the comments. First name only is fine. Tell us:

Where you are right now: thinking about leaving, in the middle of it, custody, or rebuilding.
What you're drinking today.

I'll go first: I'm in Calgary, and it's Matcha, always.

See you at our first hour on October 29. Messy bun encouraged.

Lisa
