THE PAUSE BEFORE SEND CHALLENGE

Lisa James · 2026-10-25T15:32:13.329Z

@everyone Ever sent a message and immediately wished you could pull it back? This week, practise taking a pause before responding to a difficult, non-urgent message. Before you send, ask yourself: • What actually needs an answer? • What do I want this message to accomplish? • Can I say it in fewer words? You don’t have to address every accusation to communicate what matters. Comment “I’m practising the pause” if you’re joining us. At the end of the week, tell us what you noticed. Please keep names, screenshots and identifying details private.
